 Acceptance and Committed Therapy   As the therapy  name is self- explanatory it teaches a person to accept the reality wholeheartedly and with open mind , Its part of Cognitive behavior therapy but it focuses more on accepting the situation and committing it with open mind. In ACT through acceptance and mindfulness techniques it helps individuals live in the present moment. This approach helps in building a framework for committed action toward living a rich and meaningful life.So, the primary focus  of this therapy is on values, forgiveness, acceptance, compassion, living in the present moment, and accessing a transcendent sense of self.
